Yield in Litres

Customers with in-line sensors have the ability to input their bulk pickup data into miHub. This is used to calibrate the volume measurements, allowing each cows production to be shown in litres in Scratchpad and other reports.

Important Information

• Only enter pickups when production is fairly consistent day-to-day (eg not during drying off)
• Only enter pickups when almost all milk is going into the vat (eg NOT during calving, when colostrum milk is being excluded)
• When entering pickup data the information is applied to the herd overnight.
• As such, when you enter pickup data for the first time the information will not show up on the cows until the following day.

Entering Pickup Information

It is recommended to enter pickups at least monthly (as mentioned above, only during the main milking season).

Pickups can be at different intervals - typically daily, or every two days, but sometimes there can be multiple pickups on a single day, or a part-day pickup. You need to convert this to the volume per day. For example if pickups are every second day at 40000 litres, you should enter 20000 litres as the daily volume.

1. Go to Settings > Vat Pickup Data.
2. Click on Enter New Pickup.
3. Click on the calendar icon and select the Date.
4. Type in the DAILY Volume.
5. Click the Insert button.
