How do the graphs work?

Graphs are very useful for getting a clear overview of an individual cow's performance over time, or a herd's performance over time.

Individual Cow History graph

1. Go to Scratchpad or to the Report you want to be working in.
2. Click the Visual ID of the cow you want (the Birth ID and MilkHub ID will also work). Her General Cow History will now be displayed.
3. Click Graph on the Menu headings at the top of the box.

Understanding the Graph

1. The darker colours show the performance of the individual cow. The lighter colours show the herd average to compare the cow against.
2. Simplify your view of the graph by clicking on the Coloured Legend squares to turn the lines of data on or off.

3. Hover the mouse curser over the coloured Data Lines to see specific measurements.

4. Click and drag over an area of interest and it will expand to measurements displayed over days rather than months.

5. Click Show All in the top right corner of the graph to go back to the original graph.
