How Do I import Custom Reports from Minda?

Creating Custom Reports In Minda

MilkHub supports importing Custom Reports from Minda for advanced users.

The types of Minda data currently understood by MilkHub are:

• Electronic ID
• Birth ID
• AHB ID
• Visual ID
• Date of birth
• Breed
• Dam Birth ID
• Sire Bull Code
• Sex
• Breeding Worth (BW)
• Production Worth (PW)
• Lactation Worth (LW)

Any other Minda data can be imported into MilkHub as Custom Data Fields. (See Creating Custom Columns)

To export from Minda:

1. Create a Custom Report (name it something easy like 'Milkhub import file') with the data you would like to import into MilkHub.
2. View this report in the Minda report viewer, and export as an Excel file.
3. Save the file to your computer (remember where you save it!)


Importing a File Into Milkhub

Once you have the file from Minda go to Administration > Import Minda Files
Click on the red Import Cow Data button
Click the Browse button and locate the file you saved earlier then click Upload
Make sure the column headings are correct and click Next
Check that the changes are correct and check any errors then click Apply
