Milk Efficiency

Milk Efficiency is an indication of production by looking at the cow's yield adjusted for her weight over 7 days. A good measure to use if you want to see who your high producers are! You will need MilkHub sensors and weigh scales for this metric to work.

How do I interpret Milk Efficiency?

MilkHub looks at the cow's yield based on sensor volume measurements and adjusts that for her weight over a 7 day period. The cow is then ranked against an average of 100. Cows above 100 are producing more volume per weight than the average cow in the herd. Cows under 100 are producing less volume per weight than the average cow in the herd.

Where do I find it?

Milk Efficiency is found in Scratch Pad by going to Add/Remove Columns and clicking the drop-down arrow next to Production.
