Drafting Cows With No EID

Sometimes it is necessary to find cows that do not have Electronic tags. They may have fallen out or the tags may have become faulty and are no longer being read.
Advise
ALL
staff before turning this setting on. The drafting gate does not know the difference between a cow without a tag and a person. Serious injury may occur if someone walks through the drafting gate while this setting is turned on.
1.
Go to
Settings > Hardware Setup
2.
Select the direction for
No tag drafting
3.
Press
Save
It can take up to 30 minutes for this setting to take effect in shed. Make sure you change it with enough time before you start milking.
Don't forget to turn the draft off again when you are done!
One way to minimise possible injury to staff is to make sure they have a spare tag on them (in a pocket or around their neck) if they are walking through the drafting gate.
