Finding your worst producers using the Yield Ratio

This method is suitable if you want to perform routine health checks on your herd or are building a cull list. MilkHub recommends that each cow's yield graph is checked. This can be done by clicking on the cow's VID and selecting the Graphs tab. In the example below we will be drafting out the bottom 30 producers to check them

1. Go to Herd Management -> Quick Yield Report. Click on the Yield Ratio heading to sort from lowest to highest.
2. Decide the number of cows you want to check (Example 30 cows). Go to Add Criteria, select Which Column and then select Rank from the box.
3. In the Choose Action box select Less Than or Equals. In the Value box type 30. Click Add.
4. Tick the box next to Actions to select all the displayed cows.
5. Go to Actions and click on In-Shed Action. Select the Reason for the draft (“Low Yield”), Draft Actions, Audible alert location and milking time as you would like to. MilkHub suggests setting an Audible alert to sound at the Entry position.
6. Click Confirm when you’re done.
