The example below looks at replacing an EID for a cow that has been re-tagged.
1. Go to Enter Data > Change Electronic Id
2. Select the type of tag to look for: Visual ID, Birth ID or Electronic ID
3. Type in the tag number and press Search
4. Enter the New Electronic ID and press Change ID
5. Check that the details are correct and click Yes
If the system has no record of the new number you will get a box that says Change Electronic ID
If the new number has been seen by the system you will get a box that says Merge Required
