Creating Quick Events

This tutorial shows you how to add your 3-Quarter Quick Events and how to check them on the keypad.
The process is the same for all Quick Events - they first need to be added to the system and then checked on the keypad.

Creating your Quick Events

1. Go to Administration -> Quick Events.
2. Give your Quick Event a Name. Eg "3T RR" and select "3 Quarters" under Type.
3. Click on Add New under Alerts.
4. Click on Confirm when you're done.
5. Repeat the process above until you have added all of your 3-Quarter Quick Events. Eg "3T RF", "3T LF", "3T LR"

Checking your Quick Events on the Keypad

6. Scroll down the Quick Events page and click on Keypad Setup.
7. Select the Keypad you want. Eg "Entry"
8. Under the Other key click Change.
9. Click on the arrow next to Other. Select all of the check boxes of your 3-Quarter Quick Events.
10. When you're finished, click Apply.
11. If you would like to change the order of the Quick Events as they would appear under the Other key, hold down the Quick Event, and drag it to the position you want (as shown in the tutorial).
